The game had ramifications for both Conference standings and District seeding. With several starters new in the lineup for the opening whistle, the Tigers started off play in their defensive half as Central controlled the game. After the ten minute mark the team found their footing as the balance of play tilted in Waynesville’s favor. The star of the night was again the Tiger’s defensive back line led by Captain Jourdyn Jackson as he continued to improve as a leader on and off the field. Sophomore Tristan Boerner had a standout performance in goal, with two big saves in the first half. Sophomore Sei Fowler helped anchor the back line after missing the last two games to an injury.
