Kentucky High School Soccer - Fern Creek knocks off Whitefield Academy
September 8, 2022: Louisville, KY 40228 Fern Creek Tigers (Louisville, KY) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Whitefield Academy Wildcats (Louisville, KY), 10-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers face the Providence Pioneers (Clarksville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Fern Creek will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 4-0 non-league win over North Harrison (Ramsey, IN).
The Wildcats now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Whitefield Academy will face a Wyverns team coming off a 6-0 league loss to DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY). The Wyverns record now stands at 4-4.
