September 8, 2022: Norman Park, GA 31771 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA), by a margin of 14-2.
With the triumph, Colquitt County moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Packers travel to Camden County (Kingsland, GA) to play the Wildcats in a 7A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, September 13. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 1-8. Camden County lost 8-0 in their recent non-league contest against Islands (Savannah, GA)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 9. Lanier County will attempt to move on its 14-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 1-0 league loss to Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA).
