In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Alexandria Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Slaughter Community Charter Knights.

The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA). The Chiefs come into the Division I District 2 battle with a 13-2 record.

Next, the Knights clash with the False River Gators (New Roads, LA) in a Division V District 3 battle, on Tuesday, September 13. Slaughter Community Charter will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Gators come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Port Allen (Port Allen, LA).
