In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Ponchatoula Green Wave volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Central Wildcats.

The Green Wave (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lutcher (Lutcher, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 10. Central will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Bearcats come into the battle with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Haughton (Haughton, LA).
