September 8, 2022: Redondo Beach, CA 90277 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) and the visiting Torrance Tartars (Torrance, CA), saw Redondo Union's volleyball squad beat Torrance by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Redondo Union upgrades its record to 10-4 on the year. The Sea Hawks travel to Marymount (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Sailors in a non-league bout on Monday, September 12. The Sailors go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Marymount lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA)
The Tartars now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Lawndale for a Pioneer bout on Friday, September 9. Torrance will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to South (Torrance, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-4.
