Iowa High School Football - AHSTW can't get by Kuemper
September 8, 2023: Carroll, IA 51401 Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA), 21-14 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Kuemper improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Roland-Story (Story City, IA) to confront the Norsemen in a 2A District 8 test on Friday, September 15. The Norsemen come into the test with a record of 2-1. Roland-Story won 29-20 in their recent non-league test against South Hamilton (Jewell, IA)
With the loss, AHSTW drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Underwood (Underwood, IA) to confront the Eagles in a 1A District 8 test on Friday, September 15. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-1. Underwood won 45-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA)
