September 8, 2023: Ashland, MS 38603 The Ashland Blue Devils football team (Ashland, MS), was ripped 56-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Holly Springs Hawks (Holly Springs, MS)
The Hawks (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, South Pontotoc trounced Mooreville (Mooreville, MS), 28-3, in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Strayhorn for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. Ashland will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to North Delta (Batesville, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.
