Mississippi High School Football - Newton County Academy trounces Ben's Ford Christian

In Friday's non-league match, the host Newton County Academy Generals football team scored a decisive 56-14 triumph over the Ben's Ford Christian Eagles.

With the triumph, Newton County Academy improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Kemper Academy (DeKalb, MS) to confront the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, September 15. The Rams come into the test with a record of 2-2. Kemper Academy lost 70-0 in their recent non-league test against Sharkey Issaquena Academy (Rolling Fork, MS)

With the loss, Ben's Ford Christian drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Christian Collegiate Academy (Gulfport, MS) to confront the Bulldogs in a MAIS 8-Man 2A District 4 (8 Man) test on Friday, September 15. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-2. Christian Collegiate Academy won 40-6 in their recent non-league test against Wilkinson County Christian Academy (Woodville, MS)
