Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX), 34-28 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Boyd improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Broncos host Allen (Allen, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 5 game on Friday, September 15. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 1-2. Allen won 51-31 in their recent non-league game against Martin (Arlington, TX)

The Wolves now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Coppell for a 6A Region I District 6 game on Friday, September 22. Plano West will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 21-14 non-league win over Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 3-0.
