In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Central Lions football squad scored a good 40-21 victory over the McIntosh Chiefs.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 15. Central will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 34-3 non-league win over Griffin (Griffin, GA).

The Chiefs (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA). The War Eagles enter the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Landmark Christian dropped by Lithonia (Lithonia, GA), 48-20, in a non-league match.
