Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI) followers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad triumph over the host Central Bearcats (Battle Creek, MI), 40-0 in a league battle.

The Huskies now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league battle on Friday, September 15.

Coming up next, the Bearcats play the Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan battle, on Friday, September 15. Central will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
