Texas High School Football - China Spring smashes Mexia

The China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) football routed the host Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX), 69-27 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 15. China Spring will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Cadets enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 59-38 non-league win over C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX).

The Black Cats (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Hornets enter the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Gatesville was overwhelmed by McGregor (McGregor, TX), 21-17, in a non-league bout.
