The Choctaw County Chargers football team (Ackerman, MS), was tipped 17-16 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS)

The Tigers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Booneville (Booneville, MS). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Booneville nipped Hamilton (Hamilton, MS), 35-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Chargers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Winona for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. Choctaw County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 37-17 non-league win over Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.
