Texas High School Football - Daingerfield held off by Timpson

September 8, 2023: Timpson, TX 75975

In Friday's non-league game, the Timpson Bears (Timpson, TX) football team tipped the visiting Daingerfield Tigers (Daingerfield, TX), by a final score of 33-26.

The Bears (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Waskom (Waskom, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Waskom was tipped by Sabine (Gladewater, TX), 38-28, in a non-league game.

The Tigers now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Center for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Daingerfield will battle a Roughriders team coming off a 57-52 non-league loss to North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA). The Roughriders record now stands at 2-1.
