The Lafayette Generals football team (Lexington, KY), was ripped 45-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting DeSales Colts (Louisville, KY)

The Colts (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley (Louisville, KY). The Vikings come into the 4A District 3 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Valley was ripped by Breckinridge County (Harned, KY), 48-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Generals now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Jessamine for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. Lafayette will meet a Colts team coming off a 41-7 non-league loss to Green County (Greensburg, KY). The Colts record now stands at 2-2.
