In Friday's non-league match, the host Edison Tigers football squad scored a good 21-7 victory over the El Diamante Miners.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Clovis West Golden Eagles (Fresno, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 15. Edison will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 21-20 non-league win over Bullard (Fresno, CA).
