The Erath Bobcats football team (Erath, LA), was beaten 23-15 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA)

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Abbeville (Abbeville, LA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Abbeville achieved victory over Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA), 20-7, in a non-league challenge.
