The Hewlett Bulldogs football team (Hewlett, NY), was ripped 34-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host South Side Cyclones (Rockville Centre, NY)

The Cyclones (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethpage (Bethpage, NY). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Bethpage was ripped by Lynbrook (Lynbrook, NY), 35-13, in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mineola for a Section 8 Conference III challenge on Thursday, September 14. Hewlett will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 36-29 league loss to Division (Levittown, NY). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
