September 8, 2023: Lanett, AL 36863 Lanett Panthers (Lanett, AL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL), 41-13 in a league test.
With the triumph, Lanett improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Highland Home (Highland Home, AL) to battle the Flying Squadron in a 2A Region 3 test on Friday, September 15. The Flying Squadron come into the test with a record of 3-0. Highland Home won 42-21 in their recent league test against Goshen (Goshen, AL)
With the loss, Horseshoe Bend drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Luverne (Luverne, AL) to battle the Tigers in a 2A Region 3 test on Friday, September 15. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-0. Luverne won 42-0 in their recent league test against Barbour County (Clayton, AL)
