The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hudson Raiders (Hudson, WI) and the host River Falls Wildcats (River Falls, WI), observed Hudson's football squad thwart River Falls by a count of 48-26.

The Raiders now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Menomonie for a Big Rivers contest on Friday, September 15. Hudson will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 28-20 league win over Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-0.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes (Eau Claire, WI) in a Big Rivers contest, on Friday, September 15. River Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Old Abes go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 31-7 league loss to New Richmond (New Richmond, WI).
