Kentucky High School Football - Jackson County drops to Shawnee
September 8, 2023: McKee, KY 40447 In Friday's non-league game, the Shawnee Golden Eagles (Louisville, KY) football team knocked off the host Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY), by a score of 28-14.
The Golden Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Caverna (Horse Cave, KY). The Colonels come into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Caverna was dropped by Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY), 43-28, in a non-league game.
The Generals now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lynn Camp for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Jackson County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 34-20 non-league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
