Texas High School Football - Lovejoy felled by North Crowley

The Lovejoy Leopards football team (Lucas, TX), was beaten 43-20 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting North Crowley Panthers (Fort Worth, TX)

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Paschal (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers come into the 6A Region I District 3 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Paschal was beaten by Kimball (Dallas, TX), 45-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Leopards now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Terrell for a 5A-2 Region II District 7 challenge on Friday, September 15. Lovejoy will meet a Tigers team coming off a 47-14 non-league win over Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.
