In Friday's league match, the visiting Ripley Tigers football squad scored a good 40-13 victory over the McNairy Central Bobcats.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders (Jackson, TN) in a 3A Region 7 match, on Friday, September 15. Ripley will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 42-6 league loss to Westview (Martin, TN).
