The West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS) football nudged the visiting Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS), 27-23 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Knights face the Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 15. West Lauderdale will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Mavericks enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 21-3 non-league loss to Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS).

The Rockets (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against West Point (West Point, MS). The Green Wave enter the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, West Point held off Noxubee County (Macon, MS), 50-40, in a non-league bout.
