September 8, 2023: South Lyon, MI 48178 The Walled Lake Northern Knights football team (Commerce, MI), was beaten 17-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI)
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Captains come into the Lakes Valley challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Kettering was beaten by Lakeland (White Lake, MI), 49-20, in a league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Walled Lake Western for a Lakes Valley challenge on Thursday, September 14. Walled Lake Northern will meet a Warriors team coming off a 47-9 league win over South Lyon (South Lyon, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 3-0.
