Florida High School Football - Union County held off by Walton

September 8, 2023: DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433

In Friday's non-league game, the Walton Braves (DeFuniak Springs, FL) football team tipped the visiting Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL), by a final score of 31-28.

The Braves (3-0) will now prepare for their game against South Walton (Santa Rosa Beach, FL). The Seahawks come into the non-league game with a 2-1 record.

The Fightin' Tigers now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host P.K. Yonge for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Union County will battle a Blue Wave team coming off a 22-20 non-league win over Mount Dora Christian Academy (Mount Dora, FL). The Blue Wave record now stands at 2-0.
