September 8, 2023: Norfolk, VA 23502 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the StoneBridge Cavaliers (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA), saw StoneBridge's volleyball squad nip Norfolk Academy by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, StoneBridge upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA) to play the Vikings in a bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Broadwater Academy won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Hampton Christian Academy (Hampton, VA)
The Bulldogs now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Peninsula Catholic for a bout on Friday, October 6.
