September 8, 2023: Columbia, MO 65203 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO) and the visiting Maplewood-Richmond Heights Blue Devils (Maplewood, MO), saw Hickman's soccer squad triumph over Maplewood-Richmond Heights by a margin of 8-1.
The Kewpies now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Perryville for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Hickman will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Southern Boone (Ashland, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Maplewood-Richmond Heights drops to 2-1 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Hancock (St. Louis, MO) to meet the Tigers in a South Central A A test on Tuesday, September 12. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Hancock lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Valley Park (Valley Park, MO)
