Missouri High School Soccer - Saxony Lutheran held off by Sikeston
September 8, 2023: Sikeston, MO 63801 In Friday's league battle, the host Sikeston Bulldogs soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders.
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hannibal (Hannibal, MO). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Hannibal held off Kirksville (Kirksville, MO), 4-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Southern Boone Eagles (Ashland, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 9. Saxony Lutheran will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Perryville (Perryville, MO).
