Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL) backers left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Ursuline Academy Bears (St. Louis, MO), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Crusaders battle the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 8. Althoff Catholic will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the match with a 9-0 record after their 2-1 league win over York (Elmhurst, IL).

With the loss, Ursuline Academy drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL) to battle the Hilltoppers in a non-league match on Friday, September 8.
