The Richmond Oilers topped the visiting Making Waves Academy Marlins volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Oilers now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De Anza for a Tri-County test on Monday, September 11. Richmond will confront a Dons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Swett (Crockett, CA). The Dons record now stands at 1-6.
The Marlins (2-5) will now prepare for their test against California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA). The Eagles enter the Bay Counties - General test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, California School for the Deaf gained a win over Contra Costa Christian (Walnut Creek, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
