September 8, 2023: Bardstown, KY 40004 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) and the visiting Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY), saw Nelson County's volleyball squad beat Union County by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Nelson County upgrades its record to 11-4 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Southwestern (Somerset, KY) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Southwestern lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Holy Cross (Covington, KY)
