September 8, 2023: La Jolla, CA 92093 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) and the host Preuss UCSD Tritons (La Jolla, CA), saw Steele Canyon's volleyball squad beat Preuss UCSD by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Steele Canyon upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to School for Entrepreneurship & Technology (San Diego, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-2. School for Entrepreneurship & Technology lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bayfront Charter (Chula Vista, CA)
The Tritons now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to High Tech NC for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Preuss UCSD will play a Raptor squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Southwest EC (El Centro, CA). The Raptor record now stands at 1-3.
