September 8, 2024: Corryton, TN 37721 Fans at Sunday's non-league battle between the Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN) and the host Gibbs Eagles (Corryton, TN), saw Daniel Boone's soccer squad hold off Gibbs by a count of 1-0.
The Trailblazers (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN). The Pioneers enter the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, David Crockett tipped Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Union County Patriots (Maynardville, TN) in a AA District 4 battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Gibbs will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
