West Virginia High School Football - Lincoln can't hold off South Harrison

The South Harrison Hawks held off the visiting Lincoln Cougars football squad by a margin of 14-7 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hawks now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Ritchie County for a Little Kanawha test on Friday, September 12. South Harrison will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 48-0 league loss to Doddridge County (West Union, WV). The Rebels record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Lincoln drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Grafton (Grafton, WV) to face the Bearcats in a Big Ten game on Friday, September 12. The Bearcats enter the game with a record of 0-2. Grafton lost 31-20 in their recent league game against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV)
