September 8, 2025: Wilmette, IL 60091 Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Chicago Mt. Carmel moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Caravan travel to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-0. St. Laurence won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL)
The Ramblers now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marmion for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10. Loyola Academy will clash with a Cadets team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Cadets record now stands at 0-1.
