Kentucky High School Soccer - Anderson County knocks off Harrison County
September 8, 2025: Cynthiana, KY 41031 The Anderson County Bearcats soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Harrison County Thorobreds/Fillies to 0 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Bearcats now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Woodford County for a District 30 game on Wednesday, September 10. Anderson County will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-4.
The Thorobreds/Fillies (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Scott County (Georgetown, KY). The Cardinals come into the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Scott County by Henry Clay (Lexington, KY), 8-0, in a league game.
