New Jersey High School Soccer - Ridgewood knocks off Wayne Valley
September 8, 2025: Ridgewood, NJ 07450 In Monday's league outing, the host Ridgewood Maroons soccer squad scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Wayne Valley Indians.
The Maroons (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ). The Golden Knights go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, NV - Old Tappan got by Indian Hills (Oakland, NJ), 8-0, in a non-league test.
The Indians now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wayne Hills for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Wayne Valley will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Clifton (Clifton, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.
