Colorado High School Football - Lewis-Palmer tops Coronado
September 8, 2025: Monument, CO 80132 The Lewis-Palmer Rangers football squad scored 39 points and limited the visiting Coronado Cougars to 12 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Rangers now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Palmer Ridge for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. Lewis-Palmer will face a Bears team coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Ponderosa (Parker, CO). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks go into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Cheyenne Mountain toppled Prairie View (Henderson, CO), 42-14, in a non-league test.
