Washington High School Football - Gig Harbor can't hold off Peninsula
September 8, 2025: Gig Harbor, WA 98335 Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) followers went home pleased Monday as they saw their football team nip the host Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA), 20-13 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Peninsula advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Seahawks host Curtis (University Place, WA) to play the Vikings in a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Tides play the Eastlake Wolves (Sammamish, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Gig Harbor will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wolves go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 27-8 non-league win over North Creek (Bothell, WA).
