Massachusetts High School Soccer - Winthrop toppled by Beverly
September 8, 2025: Winthrop, MA 02152 Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), 8-0 in a non-league outing.
The Panthers (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA). The Chieftains go into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Masconomet Regional prevailed over Saugus (Saugus, MA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Vikings play the Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA) in a Northeast outing, on Wednesday, September 10. Winthrop will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Big Blue go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Marblehead (Marblehead, MA).
