Maryland High School Soccer - Decatur knocks off Kent Island
September 8, 2025: Berlin, MD 21811 The Decatur Seahawks (Berlin, MD) soccer crushed the visiting Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD), 5-0 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Seahawks (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Washington (Princess Anne, MD). The Jaguars enter the Class 1A East II battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Washington was overwhelmed by Cambridge-South Dorchester (Cambridge, MD), 5-3, in a league battle.
Next up, the Buccaneers battle the North Dorchester Eagles (Hurlock, MD) in a Bayside - North battle, on Wednesday, September 10. Kent Island will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Snow Hill (Snow Hill, MD).
