North Carolina High School Soccer - East Rutherford knocks off Kings Mountain
September 8, 2025: Bostic, NC 28018 The East Rutherford Cavaliers (Bostic, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC), 6-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Cavaliers now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hibriten for a Western Piedmont 3A/4A challenge on Wednesday, September 10. East Rutherford will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Kings Mountain moves to 1-4 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Yellow Jackets enter the contest with a record of 4-4. Bessemer City won 5-2 in their recent league contest against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC)
