Minnesota High School Soccer - La Crescent nudges Schaeffer Academy
September 8, 2025: Rochester, MN 55906 In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting La Crescent Lancers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Schaeffer Academy Lions.
The Lancers (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Warriors enter the Class A Section 1 outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Caledonia was tipped by Lake City (Lake City, MN), 4-1, in a league test.
The Lions now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lake City for a Class A Section 1 test on Thursday, September 11. Schaeffer Academy will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lourdes (Rochester, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
