September 8, 2025: Aberdeen, NJ 07747 Long Branch Green Wave (Long Branch, NJ) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Long Branch advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Green Wave travel to Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ) to play the Caseys in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 10. The Caseys go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Red Bank Catholic won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ)
Next up, the Huskies play the Christian Brothers Academy Colts (Lincroft, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 10. Matawan Regional will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Colts go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Marlboro (Marlboro, NJ).
