New Jersey High School Soccer - Plainfield toppled by West Orange
September 8, 2025: West Orange, NJ 07052 West Orange Mountaineers (West Orange, NJ) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West Orange improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to East Side (Newark, NJ) to confront the Red Raiders in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 10. The Red Raiders go into the outing with a record of 1-1. East Side lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 13. Plainfield will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Highlanders go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Johnson (Clark, NJ).
