Georgia High School Softball - Dutchtown drops to Landmark Christian
September 8, 2025: Fairburn, GA 30213 Landmark Christian War Eagles (Fairburn, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Dutchtown Bulldogs (Hampton, GA), 16-8 in a non-league match.
The War Eagles (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA). The Eagles enter the 1A D-I Region 5 game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Mount Paran Christian was routed by Wesleyan (Norcross, GA), 7-5, in a league game.
The Bulldogs now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to McIntosh for a 5A Region 3 game on Tuesday, September 9. Dutchtown will play a Chiefs squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 9-8.
