Virginia High School Volleyball - Banner Christian bounced by Grove Christian School

Grove Christian School Falcons (Richmond, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Banner Christian Bearcats (Chesterfield, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Grove Christian School improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Falcons host Summit Christian Academy (Yorktown, VA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Summit Christian Academy won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Oaktree Academy (Virginia Beach, VA)

Next, the Bearcats meet the Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights (Powhatan, VA) in a Virginia Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Banner Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA).
