The Metro Tech Knights volleyball squad (Phoenix, AZ), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Buckeye Hawks (Buckeye, AZ)

With the win, Buckeye upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Verrado (Buckeye, AZ) to meet the Vipers in a 5A - Desert West contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Vipers enter the contest with a record of 1-3. Verrado lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ)

Next, the Knights meet the Carl Hayden Community Falcons (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A - Metro contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Metro Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ).
